These Specific Terms supplement the General Terms of Use and the Partner Terms for Nadi's Event Standby Service operated by Nadi ("we", "us" or "our"). Capitalised terms have the meanings defined in the General Terms and the Partner Terms.
1Scope
- 1.1
The Event Standby Service is the placement of one ambulance unit with its Crew on standby at your event venue for the period ordered.
- 1.2
The Event Standby Service is calculated on the basis of time, not distance.
- 1.3
Care for people who need assistance at the event venue is provided by the Crew according to the standards and authority of the Partner Organisation. We do not provide medical procedures.
- 1.4
In the event of any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, these Specific Terms prevail for the Event Standby Service.
Part A — for Users
2Ordering and Fares
- 2.1
The Fare is calculated per hour with a minimum number of hours according to the applicable fare card. The amount payable is the number of hours ordered, being at least the minimum number of hours, multiplied by the hourly rate, and at least the minimum fare on the fare card. That amount is displayed before you order.
- 2.2
When ordering, you state the event venue, the date, the start time, the duration of standby, and any additional requirements.
3Payment
4Extensions
- 4.1
Additional hours may be ordered and paid for through the Application or through the Operator, before or during the event, at the same hourly rate.
- 4.2
The Application reminds you before the period ordered ends.
- 4.3
If no extension has been paid for, the Crew may leave the event venue when the period ordered ends.
- 4.4
Additional hours are stated on the bill and the Receipt.
5Cancellation and Early Termination
- 5.1
You may cancel an Order at any time before the Crew arrives at the event venue, free of charge, and all funds paid are refunded in accordance with the Service Policy.
- 5.2
If you end the Event Standby Service early after the Crew has arrived at the event venue, the hours ordered are still charged and are not refunded. This Article applies as an exception to Article 8.3 of the General Terms.
- 5.3
If the Partner Organisation cancels, you are not charged, we seek another Partner Organisation, and funds paid for an Order that does not proceed are refunded in accordance with the Service Policy.
Part B — for Partner Organisations and Crew
6Performance
- 6.1
The unit and Crew must be present at the event venue before the start time and remain at the venue throughout the period ordered.
- 6.2
Care at the event venue is provided according to the standards and authority of the Partner Organisation.
- 6.3
An extension applies only after the User has ordered and paid for it through the Application or through the Operator. The Crew and Partner Organisations must not charge additional hours or other costs directly to the User.
- 6.4
If no extension has been paid for, the Crew may leave the event venue when the period ordered ends. If an extension has been paid for, the Unit and Crew remain at the venue until the extension period ends.
